This position is represented by the Engineers and Scientists of California (ESC) subject to collective bargaining. It is a journey‑level engineer role that requires mastery of Associate Engineer skills and duties. The engineer provides strategy, engineering, operations, maintenance, and technical implementation support for the distribution line SCADA/Automation systems, with responsibilities growing as experience and ability increase. The role operates in a hybrid model, working remotely and at an assigned location within the PG&E service territory.
PG&E provides a salary range based on locality, skills, education, certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. The annual salary range for California is $115,128 minimum to $175,080 maximum.
