Overview
£53 million turnover
Reflects the company's strong financial performance in the UK temporary works sector.
£9.8 million profit
Showcases profitable growth and operational efficiency in FY 2023.
Born in Dewsbury and now part of PERI Group since May 2024, Mabey Hire has carved a niche as the UK’s go‑to temporary works specialist.
From modest beginnings, it now turns over £53 million annually and posted a £9.8 million pre‑tax profit in FY 2023.
Its engineer-led team tackles complex excavation shoring, renovation propping, jacking schemes, temporary bridges and sensor-based monitoring.
Typical projects span major UK ventures like Crossrail, Mersey Gateway and HS2 enabling works, showcasing its reach in civil and infrastructure domains.
It remains independent in brand and management under PERI’s umbrella—blending family-business agility with global backing.
Unusually, it's the only UK specialist combining in-house design, supply, installation and live structural monitoring services.
