The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for leading the service department to deliver exceptional installation, maintenance, and repair services. This role oversees daily operations, supervises technicians, manages customer relationships, drives profitability, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and fosters a culture of excellence.

  • Track and analyze department KPIs, implementing strategies for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support for complex HVAC issues.
  • Review and approve work orders, timesheets, and job costing reports.
  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction, implementing improvements where needed.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulations.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and resolution focus.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HVAC technicians and support staff.
  • Oversee scheduling and dispatching of service calls to ensure timely response and resolution.
  • Develop and enforce service procedures, policies, and protocols.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to maintain high team standards.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technology, and product innovations.
  • Collaborate with sales, installation, and administrative teams to streamline workflows.

  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high accountability.

  • Proficiency with HVAC diagnostics, repair procedures, and best practices.
  • We consider all applications based on demonstrated education, experience, and skills.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work in varying environments, including extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 5+ years of HVAC service experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and use of hands/tools for extended periods.
