- Follow the directions of the foreman and adhere to all occupational health and safety standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment (post pounders, augers, digging equipment, skid steers, loaders, etc.) to set signposts in the ground
- Follow traffic control plans and set up safety zones (cones, barricades, flagging)
- Perform other road maintenance duties as required in all weather conditions
- Mount and secure signs with proper hardware
- Install posts, beams, and hardware for guardrails
- Install traffic signs, regulatory signs, and directional signage according to highway standards
- Load and unload materials from trucks safely

- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is ideal
- Skilled in working with power tools
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clear 3-year driver’s abstract
- Local applicants only (no camp or LOA provided)
- Be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. and comfortable working at heights
- Experience operating skid steer and other equipment
- Valid ESC Fall Pro and ESC EWP tickets are an asset
- Monday to Friday 8-to-12-hour days
