Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in an IMechE accredited University. Master’s level degree would be an advantage
Previous experience in the design and delivery of a system or design project at university.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present technical topics to an audience.
Full UK driving license or equivalent that permits driving in the UK.
Understanding of the IMechE code of conduct and understand the requirements of becoming a registered Member of the IMechE.
Previous work experience and/or membership of a group where you have had to work as a team.
A basic understanding of design principles and ability to apply them.
Ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents.
Willing to engage in learning the relevant design tools, techniques and related methods e.g. IT systems, IT Software and by IT literate.
Relevant Building services qualifications would be more advantageous
