Tasks

-Apply your engineering expertise to diverse projects, collaborating with teams to devise innovative solutions drawing on best practices in areas such as linear utility projects, street improvements, design/build initiatives, and transportation infrastructure. -Conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. -Foster strong client relationships by actively listening to client needs, providing clear communication, and delivering customized solutions that align with their objectives. -Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying. -Enhance your skills in identifying and overcoming challenges through innovative problem-solving approaches, utilizing both traditional and modern engineering techniques. -Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs. -Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain. -Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and proactive support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. -Mentor team members to support their professional growth and development. -Assist in managing project tasks, ensuring efficient coordination of timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes. -Contribute to projects involving waterfront developments and industrial developments, leveraging your skills to drive successful outcomes in these specialized areas.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs -Minimum three years of full-time experience in relevant civil/site development engineering design. (Internship experience is appreciated but does not count towards the three-year minimum requirement.) -Learn to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies to contribute to project success. -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. -Demonstrated enthusiasm for developing design and project management skills. -Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. -Preferred familiarity with Civil 3D and MicroStation. -Proficiency and experience in AutoCAD for construction document creation. -Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. -Proven capability to work dynamically and effectively in a collaborative environment. -Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.
