Tasks

-Shorten Sales Cycle by aligning our solutions that fit the needs of the customer | Customize programs/deals and time stamp it to create that urge to buy -Work with SBD Sales and Marketing Teams to create and drive field programs and events to drive sales and educate end users on SBD product lines -Help to negotiate annual customer Agreements and or National Programs -Review business with customer on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure growth targets being achieved -Partner with the National Account RSVPs, Directors of Sales, Program Managers & National Account Sellers at Grainger to coordinate and implement targeted Nat. Acct./Core Sales initiatives -Support Product Managers to determine appropriate promotion strategy and NPD launch -Drive conversions and sell-through across Grainger in the assigned territory -Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key personnel within assigned accounts. Regular planning and communication required -Provide support to end-users on product training through educational and safety seminars

What You Bring

-5+ years’ experience in Sales or Marketing focused in the Construction and Industrial channels -National customer travel required; occasional domestic travel to attend internal business meetings also required -Valid Driver's License & clean driving record -Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook -Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related fields -Prior Sales management and key account experience -Excellent platform skills; feel comfortable presenting and speaking in front of large audiences -Willingness to travel (60%)
