Daily responsibilities include reviewing plan packages for completeness, organizing compliance documentation, and maintaining project trackers, portals, and file systems. The coordinator will interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction and client‑side design teams to clarify requirements, track application status, and proactively address potential delays. Additional duties involve supporting plan package preparation, handling client permit inquiries, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Performance will be measured against specific goals set for the first 30, 60, and 90 days, focusing on executing project‑level requests, collecting necessary documents, monitoring submissions, and communicating timelines and estimated approval dates. The role also requires maintaining up‑to‑date trackers and collaborating closely with Project Managers and Review Leads.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in commercial permit coordination or related administrative roles, and a background in permitting, construction, government administration, regulatory administration, or real estate. Strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment are essential. Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Notion, and G‑Suite, and a willingness to learn new software, are also required.
