Functions as a critical liaison between all HCTRA’s locations and the HCTRA Distribution Center, coordinating delivery and transfer of large-scale office and janitorial supply orders.
Fulfills secure, professional delivery of mail, packages, and time-sensitive and confidential materials for the Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA), across 77+ facilities, ), as well as to Harris County Commissioners Court Offices, Harris County departments and occasionally locations outside normal daily delivery route. Ensures chain-of-custody integrity and delivery verification procedures are followed to support organizational compliance and minimize risk exposure.
Independently analyzes and adjusts delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and maintain schedule adherence under changing conditions. Provides real-time solutions for urgent transport needs and route disruptions to support uninterrupted agency operations.
Operates an assigned HCTRA vehicle in full compliance with safety regulations and organizational protocols. Performs pre/post-trip inspections, reports mechanical issues promptly, and upholds transportation standards to ensure safe delivery of goods and personnel accountability.
