Yard Manager - Scaffold

Description

• Leverage current skills while developing new skills
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures
• Manage all yard employees and temporary labor
• Inspect each delivery and return for proper identification and count accuracy
• Ensure accurate paperwork for all equipment movements
• Verify receipt of incoming equipment, including counts, condition, and paperwork
• Organize equipment by maintenance status, customer charge, and rent‑ready condition
• Repair damaged equipment properly
• Account for equipment to be charged to customers
• Perform daily and weekly truck audits
• Communicate inventory levels to management
• Hold daily morning yard meetings on objectives and safety issues
• Monitor preventive maintenance and complete daily inspections
• Maintain a well‑organized, safe yard premises
• Train and develop yard personnel
• Conduct weekly housekeeping of warehouse and exterior premises
• Report unsafe acts and attend required safety meetings

Requirements

The position requires completion of Sunbelt’s new‑hire orientation and all required safety training, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience. Physical demands include bending, squatting, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working both indoors and outdoors. Sunbelt Rentals is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a base pay range of $56,304–$77,418, dependent on factors such as location and experience.
