Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping, the Deputy Head will support daily housekeeping operations, lead induction and training, mentor staff, and act as a team player across the resort. The role also involves communicating relevant news, ensuring efficient use of products and sustainability standards, and maintaining brand standards.
When the Head of Housekeeping is absent, the Deputy Head will assign accommodations, coordinate tasks and manage schedules. The position requires 40 hours per week on a rotating shift basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Support daily housekeeping operations.
- Lead induction, training and mentorship of new and existing team members.
- Promote company culture and continuous improvement.
- Act as a team player and lead by example across the resort.
- Communicate relevant news, scores and survey feedback to staff.
- Ensure efficient use of products, materials and PPE while following sustainability guidelines.
- Uphold company brand standards.
- Assign accommodations, coordinate tasks and manage schedules in the Head of Housekeeping’s absence.
