Knowledge of Highway Geometric Design

Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
Ability to handle the team and deliver schemes independently.
Have an excellent knowledge of relevant technical design standards, preferably DMRB
Knowledge of Keysigns/line or similar Road signs/ marking design software
Knowledge of using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D software independently
BEng /BTech in Civil Engineering preferably MEng/ MTech on Highways/ Traffic engineering with a minimum of 6 years experience in the field of Highways/ Transportation.
Member or working towards associated Professional body membership.
Road Signs and Markings design.
Ability to independently carry out engineering tasks from initiation through completion without continual direction.
Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables
Have an excellent level of technical expertise in Highways or Transport
Good written and spoken English skills
Clear communication (verbal and written) with colleagues in India and the UK on all matters – project related, technical communication and day-to-day matters
It is mandatory to have 1/2 years of working experience on UK projects.
Knowledge of using Autodesk AutoCAD software independently
Understanding of software’s operations and limitations
Vehicle Swept path analysis.
Preferable to have Line management experience
Ability to work well as an individual and in a team.
Minimum 2 years of working experience on international projects including UK experience.
