The role focuses on testing intelligent electronic devices (relays) by creating and executing test cases, designing verification plans, and performing regression and user acceptance testing within an agile framework. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams ensures that software meets user requirements and is delivered on schedule.
- Learn and understand relays (Intelligent Electronic Devices) functionality.
- Develop test cases and scripts from user stories and requirements.
- Design functional verification test plans covering performance, boundary, and negative testing.
- Execute regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products.
- Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet user requirements and delivery timelines.
- Own and run test cases within agile iteration cycles.
- Identify, log, and work with developers to resolve defects and bugs.
- Prioritize reported defects and verify their resolution.
- Record and communicate test results effectively.
