What you would be doing

Manage project issues
Plan, initiate, execute, supervise and deliver a diverse range of survey projects
Liaise with both internal and external Project Managers and clients
Work with other Survey Project Managers to co-ordinate, schedule and review the activities of field and office staff
Manage project billings, expenses, and receivables
Prepare proposals and contracts
Manage client expectations, and ensure project deliverables, schedules, objectives, and budgets are met
Develop strong client relations, participate in business development activities including identifying & securing new clients, increase work with existing clients and representing the organization at industry events
Lead survey team on projects, communicate scope and scheduling information to team members
Maintain accurate notes, records, and sketches to document work performed
Provide guidance, training and mentoring to team members
Provide information as required by senior management; and,

Commissioned Land Surveyor from other jurisdictions with intent to attain ALSA commission will be considered
Commissioned to practice in the province of Alberta
Proficiency in data processing and software applications (MSCAD, Civil3D, GNSS, processing software and Trimble)
Diploma or Degree in Geomatics
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Valid AB driver’s license; and,
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
