The primary responsibility of this role is to perform flow and thermal analysis of fuses, switchgear, UPS, circuit protection devices, transformers, and related electrical products to predict thermal performance. The individual will partner with teams in India, Europe, the US, and China, understand design intent, develop and validate analysis models, and ensure proper coordination and communication with all stakeholders using project‑management best practices. This position handles medium‑complex technologies involving conjugate heat transfer, flow estimation, and electronics cooling, requiring independent requirement handling and delivery of quality results on schedule.
The candidate should have a strong background in heat transfer and fluid mechanics, a solid grasp of CFD fundamentals, and a proactive attitude toward validating analytical predictions with physical testing to mature digital‑prototype capabilities. They must be conversant with the various products in the electrical portfolio and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
A master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Applied Mechanics from a reputed institute and 0‑1 year of experience are required.
