Senior Civil Engineer

Description

• Developing project solutions and addressing infrastructure needs and improvements for utility districts, municipalities, and private clients.
• Preparing plan sets.
• Overseeing figure preparation.
• Preparing permit applications.
• Supporting business development opportunities for a variety of infrastructure-related projects.
• Performing and reviewing design calculations.
• Mentoring project team members.
• Developing construction cost estimates.
• Managing projects, coordinating with clients, preparing proposals and fee estimates.

Requirements

This full-time position requires approximately 40 to 45 hours per week and involves a blend of project management, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.

This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.

• You are a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas or can obtain licensure within 6 months
• You have strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with project team members
• You possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
• You have 15 to 25+ years of relevant engineering design experience, such as designing civil infrastructure and water and/or wastewater systems, stormwater drainage, rural and urban roads, water resources, and site development projects
• You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organizational skills
• You have an interest in and ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices nationwide
