Responsibilities include pole placement and relocation, establishing safety perimeters, reviewing project plans for compliance, directing on‑site activities, completing documentation, and communicating with supervisors while leading in‑house crews and overseeing daily schedules and productivity.

They must be comfortable operating bucket trucks, diggers, and Derek trucks, possess OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications, lift up to 70 lb, climb up to 35 ft, read work orders and cable prints, and be able to work on call in fast‑paced, changing environments.
Compensation ranges from $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, life and disability insurance, medical/dental/vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, and an employee assistance program. Additional perks feature a Red Wing boot voucher, paid time off, holidays, family and medical leave, sick time, and a $1,000 referral incentive for successful hires.
