Key Technicians schedule and perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and repairs to keep the production line running efficiently. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Curing Technician safely operates, cleans, troubleshoots, and performs basic preventative maintenance on machinery in the curing, cutting, and stacking areas.
The role includes overseeing the curing process—managing the oven, cooling zone, afterburner, binder system, recycle system, and laser branders—to ensure products meet quality specifications. The technician follows the production schedule, records specifications in RockFact, conducts basic equipment troubleshooting, adheres to safety and environmental standards, and strives to meet production volume targets and key performance indicators.
Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years’ continuous‑flow manufacturing or industrial experience, preferably in aggregate, steel, or metal refining. They must be able to work safely around high‑heat machinery, possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, demonstrate attention to detail, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems. Experience training new hires is also valued.
