The role performs advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving to support nuclear plant operations, making key technical decisions and applying detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
- Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical expertise and consultation.
- Manage engineering tasks end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Apply engineering principles to assigned tasks and maintain configuration management.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects.
- Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, and comply with codes.
- Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support as needed.

- Entry‑Level Engineer: Bachelor’s in Engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) and meet access/medical requirements.
- Mid‑Level Engineer: Same degree plus 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience and meet access/medical requirements.
- Senior Engineer: Same degree plus 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience and meet access/medical requirements.
- Preferred: Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
