Billing and Estimation Manager

Description

The estimator will support the project’s cost planning and stakeholder engagement, ensuring estimates are detailed, auditable and aligned with project objectives.

• Prepare accurate, auditable detailed estimates as lead estimator or supporting senior colleagues.
• Work independently with limited supervision while adhering to estimating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tender aspects are considered.
• Conduct benchmarking exercises to validate estimates.
• Oversee quality assurance of project estimates to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Communicate complex estimating and risk‑model data to leadership, providing recommendations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Coordinate with the Senior Leadership Team and mentor team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Mace governance standards.
• Support net‑zero carbon goals by identifying and managing emission reductions during delivery.
