Handle customer complaints tactfully and thoughtfully, keeping Parts Manger advised of all issues.
Receive, pull, and ship customer parts orders.
Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
Keep the parts counter clean and orderly.
Follow proper cash account procedures.
Forklift operations loading customer orders from yard and/or shop. (Forklift Certified must be completed within 30 days of hire date, in house certification)
Communicate with customers about upcoming parts sales / specials and any current or upcoming parts requests or purchases.
Greet walk-in and telephone customers to help with their parts inquiries.
Make outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email.
Evaluate and discuss with each customer their part & ongoing customer service experience with us.
Research and fill customer parts orders, requests, and estimates
Place daily orders from multiple equipment parts vendors
Ensure maximum sales volume.
