Design, build and maintain end‑to‑end ETL pipelines in Databricks on AWS, supporting data ingestion through curated analytics‑ready datasets. Implement ingestion patterns for ERP systems, REST/SOAP APIs and file‑based sources using Python and SQL, and apply Medallion architecture principles for quality transformations and governance. Develop, optimize and maintain Databricks notebooks, collaborate with database developers and BI analysts, monitor workflows for performance and cost efficiency, and create documentation and reusable ETL standards to deliver trusted datasets for reporting, advanced analytics and AI.

The position is onsite Monday‑Friday at 2707 North Loop West, Houston, TX. QISG is a leading EPC firm delivering innovative engineering, procurement and construction solutions for utilities and renewable energy projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks ETL Developer with proven experience on AWS to support the QISG Data Strategy, building and maintaining modern data pipelines that enable BI, analytics and AI initiatives.
Minimum two years of hands‑on Databricks experience (AWS preferred) and four to six years of enterprise ETL development. Proven ability to build complex ETL solutions, including ERP and financial data integrations, using SQL, Delta Lake and Databricks‑native workflows. At least three years of Python development for API ingestion and automation, strong data‑governance knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or a related field. Travel up to 10% may be required.
- Minimum 2 years of Databricks experience (AWS preferred) and 4–6 years of enterprise ETL development.
- Strong SQL and Python (3+ years) skills for transformation and automation.
- Experience with Delta Lake and role‑based access control in modern data governance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or related field.
