Write technical and design reports.
Develop civil engineering plans, reports, and specifications for diverse land development projects.
Design grading, drainage, utility systems, and site layouts for retail, residential, institutional, renewable energy, and industrial sites.
Prepare and review design criteria, drawings, and specifications.
Compile stormwater management reports, including hydrologic modeling and pipe sizing.
Prepare permitting, design, and construction documents.
Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to discuss design and permitting needs.
Apply critical and creative thinking in a collaborative team environment.
Create graphics and maps for project documentation.
Maintain high attention to detail.
Contribute to complex, transformational projects.

Currently enrolled in a civil engineering undergraduate or graduate program.

Benefits

The hourly salary range for this position is estimated at $19 to $28, with final compensation based on qualifications, education, and experience. VHB does not provide housing for interns.
