Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET program
Design and load rating of simple and/or continuous span steel bridges
Experience with MicroStation, structural analysis and design software
Master’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program with structural emphasis
Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with the American Association of Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Bridge Design Specifications is desired
Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT)
Familiarity with TxDOT standards and manuals
