Stay updated on quality management best practices, customer quality expectations, and industry standards.
Collaborate with the Quality Engineer to ensure all project quality activities align with internal and customer standards.
Undertake special assignments as directed by the Vice President, PSB Engineering & Execution APAC.
Conduct and lead product quality analyses including DFMEA, PFMEA, DPU, and other problem-solving methodologies.
Drive suppliers and contractors to align with company quality requirements, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
Investigate regional quality issues and collaborate with Engineering, Execution, Field Service, and other stakeholders to resolve them.
Maintain proper documentation of all quality assessments, safety assessments, and issue logs.
Support pre-sales activities by reviewing quality requirements, identifying risks, and providing quality-related recommendations.
Present insights, metrics, and lessons learned relating to quality and product safety to customers.
Present internal lessons learned, findings, and product safety insights to internal stakeholders to improve organizational knowledge and performance.
Travel overseas for business needs when required.
Lead Product Safety Assessments to ensure products meet company and regulatory safety standards.
Attend and lead customer quality meetings, addressing all quality-related topics promptly and effectively.
Track and follow up on all Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities; ensure RCAs are completed within agreed timelines.
Track all quality issues reported by customer accounts, identify repeat issues, and initiate investigations together with the engineering and project teams.
Lead all customer quality processes to meet and exceed established customer quality baselines.
Working with Internal Stakeholders & Suppliers
Work with regional quality teams to stay updated on emerging quality issues and proactively mitigate project risks.
Keep customers fully informed of ongoing quality topics, actions, and progress.

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering within industrial, manufacturing, marine, heavy equipment, or power systems environments.
Exposure to high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
Experience handling customer quality cases and driving formal issue-resolution processes.
Degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related discipline.
Always up to date with project progress and able to track issues systematically.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
Highly resourceful, proactive, and able to multi-task across multiple simultaneous topics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interface effectively with both internal teams and customers.
Able to manage high-stress, time-sensitive quality topics with accountability and composure.
Willingness to travel within the region as required.
Experience in supplier quality or project quality for engineered-to-order systems.
Experience in the diesel engine, generator, or backup power/data centre power systems industry is an added advantage.
Strong documentation, governance, and process-control skills.
Competent in problem-solving and quality tools (8D, RCA, FMEA, CAPA, statistical methods).
Understand customer-specific quality processes and ensure these are implemented within projects.
Demonstrated ability to understand Asian cultural nuances and navigate conflicts professionally.
Experience in power systems, rotating equipment, diesel/gas engines, mtu products, or similar complex engineered systems.
Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audit processes, and QMS requirements.
