Ensure proper execution of NDE (RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, hardness testing).
Validate hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, leak testing, and mechanical integrity checks.
Review and approve contractor and vendor quality documentation, including WPS/PQR, NDE procedures, and material certificates.
Verify mechanical completion (MC) dossiers and punch list closure.
Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and mechanical quality procedures.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in quality performance.
Provide technical leadership and oversight for all mechanical quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities across offshore projects, including fabrication, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with offshore construction standards and SIMOPS requirements.
Conduct quality risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are in place.
Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, AWS, and client-specific standards.
Lead quality control activities for Static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks), Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines), Piping systems (CS, SS, CRA, GRE), Valves, actuators, and mechanical packages
Oversee fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and mechanical completion activities.

Minimum 15 to 18+ years in mechanical QA/QC experience in offshore Oil & Gas.
The candidates should have an Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Proven track record in PMC or client-side roles, especially within ADNOC or similar environments
Strong knowledge of Welding Engineering, NDE Method, Mechanical equipment standards, offshore construction quality
Certifications preferred: CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI/ ASNT Level II/III/ API 510/570/653 (advantage)
Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage.
