RHM Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Property Manager to lead an Affordable Housing Portfolio in Greater Cleveland, OH. The Affordable Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and financial performance of Affordable Housing Portfolio properties. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the operations, compliance, and financial performance of affordable housing properties while driving improvements through strategic planning, staff leadership, and collaboration. - Strong financial acumen with the ability to prepare and analyze property operating budgets, budget variance reports, occupancy reports, income and expense statements, and financial statements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, management, and supervisory skills; ability to effectively manage a diverse employee base.
- Knowledge of YARDI software strongly preferred.
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification strongly preferred.
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
- Demonstrated ability to operate and manage effectively in a complex, fast-paced, and dynamic management and services firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Affordable Housing, including project-based Section 8 and LIHTC programs.
- Working knowledge of applicable Landlord-Tenant Laws, Fair Housing Regulations, IRS Section 42 – LIHTC Program, and other laws related to property-specific guidelines and occupancy standards.
- 5+ years of property management experience, including strong expertise in affordable housing with oversight of a minimum of 1000 units.
- U.S. work authorization required for employment
- 2+ years of previous supervisory experience over multiple locations.
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
