The role is based in Austin, Texas, within the Marketing and Logistics department. The incumbent will manage invoice creation, distribution, and reconciliation for both physical and financial natural gas transactions. They will also support trade confirmations and assist with counterparty setup and onboarding.
Daily duties include generating and settling invoices, coordinating with counterparties to resolve discrepancies, uploading journal entries from monthly settlements, and ensuring contract details such as fees, rates, and payment schedules are accurately reflected in the ETRM system. The employee will maintain consistent counterparty reference data across platforms, support accounting during month‑end accruals and AR/AP reconciliations, and handle regulatory and tax filing preparation as needed.
Candidates should have 1–5 years of commodity settlement experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, and strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Allegro or similar ETRM systems are required; additional commodity trading or marketing knowledge is preferred.
