The Builder Field Manager reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for managing new construction installation and warranty coordination for large national and regional home builders. The role focuses on communication with builder superintendents and internal staff to coordinate installations, including pre‑walk and post‑walk inspections of new houses. Success requires strong organization and the ability to deliver high‑level service in a fast‑paced environment.
Core duties include visiting neighborhoods to pre‑walk homes, overseeing installations, and post‑walk inspections to ensure quality, as well as collaborating with coordinators and installation teams on punch‑list and warranty work. The manager also performs minor touch‑ups, ensures necessary materials are on‑site, measures homes for material shortages, and attends homeowner appointments to address post‑closing issues.
Candidates should have experience in home building or construction, be able to read plans and specifications, and possess high quality standards. Strong communication, problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills are essential, along with a self‑starter attitude and willingness to interact with builders and homeowners.
