The NICEIC Qualified Supervisor ensures the company meets all NICEIC accreditation requirements and communicates these standards to the Management and Site Operations teams. Acting as the Qualifying Supervisor, they liaise directly with the NICEIC, monitor certification and regulatory compliance, and ensure inspection and testing results are correctly recorded on certificates and reports. Responsibilities include verifying site electrical inspection and testing results, conducting regular compliance site surveys, inspecting installations against the current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and NICEIC standards, and producing progressive survey reports for the site team and Contract Manager. The role also involves reviewing electrical certifications from K&M engineers and subcontractors, completing certification documentation in company software, and supporting NICEIC audits and annual assessments.
The position is based within the Operations department and works closely with management and site teams to ensure project compliance and successful delivery.
Candidates must be qualified electricians holding valid 2360 Part 1 & 2 / 2330 Level 2 & 3 qualifications and EAS‑approved craft credentials such as an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprentice, or an equivalent qualification. Up‑to‑date knowledge of the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018) and an Electrical Inspection and Testing certification (C&G 2391 or equivalent) are required, as is previous experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor. Excellent communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to prioritize work activities, are essential.
