What you would be doing

  • Build professional relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors and site based and remote teams.
  • Support the training and development of staff within the team.
  • Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times and its contractors, by correct use of Safe Systems of Work, including RAMS, LOTO, etc.
  • Ensure client equipment and systems are operating correctly to enable client operational needs and to escalate issues where appropriate where outputs are at risk.
  • Quality assure technical activities against Global Engineering Standards and industry best practice, including employees and sub-contractors working on client’s behalf.
  • Assist with work order prioritisation, including communication with DigiHub/Helpdesk and end users over repair requirements.
  • Diagnose faults and repair assets within technical capability.
  • Carry out like for like asset replacement and minor new works as directed.

  • Practical technical skills and current working knowledge of engineering standards and best practice.
  • IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office applications and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems

  • Practical experience of working independently in a technical maintenance environment
  • Awareness of cost/benefit applicable to the tasks performed.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and team members
  • Ability to self-manage and self-plan workload to meet set deadlines.
  • Technical competence with NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications, preferably within an electrical discipline
