• Ensure safety during fire drills and other safety procedures.

• Interact courteously with residents, families, and guests.
• Follow MBK policies regarding breaks and rest periods.
• Meet all state regulatory requirements.
• Perform kneeling, squatting, overhead reaching and bending as needed.

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold current first‑aid certification; a Nurse Aid certification is preferred. Background clearance, a recent negative TB test, and the ability to read and speak English are required. Physical abilities include kneeling, squatting, overhead reaching, and lifting 40 lb or pushing 150 lb unassisted.

• Pass background checks and provide a recent negative TB test.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; on‑the‑job training available.

• Lift 40 + lbs and push 150 lbs unassisted.

The Full‑Time PM Caregiver works Sunday‑Thursday evenings (2 pm‑10:30 pm) and earns $17.50‑$19.50 per hour. The role centers on assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining their dignity, safety, and comfort, and responding promptly to alerts and emergencies. Caregivers follow individualized care plans and collaborate with the care team to ensure high‑quality service.
