Key duties include providing in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs; consulting on equipment and system issues; managing engineering tasks; ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management; conducting independent research and analyses; recommending equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, and comply with code changes; and supporting emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage activities as directed.
The position performs advanced technical and engineering problem solving to support nuclear plant operations, making technical decisions and applying extensive knowledge of functional disciplines, industry codes, and regulations.
