Accountable for the quality systems in the region, including QIM, ensuring any quality related topics regional QIM alignment of market product compliance and regulation mapping within Hager Pacific markets
Carry out compliance and validation of Work Equipment Safety documentation and prepare materials for weekly briefings and monthly presentation of indicators and objectives
Participate in the various HSE&Q projects identified internally at the site and/or group level as well as obtaining and maintaining H&S ISO certifications across Hager & WSP owned sites in the region
Analyse and assess safety risks at various workstations (chemical risks, occupational health and safety etc.) to define and manage actions to address significant risks
Oversee all aspects of HSE&Q for Hager’s Pacific operations, including one manufacturing site, one distribution centre, four 3PL sites, three Sales offices and mobile Sales teams

In-depth knowledge of HSE&Q standards, including ISO certifications, Australian WHS regulations, and industry best practices in line with process improvement and development knowledge (RCA, 8D, Lean Six Sigma etc.)
Relevant HS&Q certifications such as Cert IV in Work, Health & Safety (WHS), ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, or other industry-recognised certifications as well as knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality methods & tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP)
Project Management proficiency and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior management, ensuring clear understanding of HSE&Q requirements
Fluent English language skills (C1), strong communication skills and willingness to travel between the logistics DCs as well as manufacturing and production sites in Brisbane and Sydney (interstate travel)
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or a related field in combination with several years’ work experience
