Project Engineer - Heavy Civil

Description

• Manage project takeoffs and documentation
• Prepare project proposals and obtain supplier quotes
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, quality control personnel, operations, and management
• Read and interpret blueprints and plans
• Maintain excellent attention to detail and time‑management to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Utilize strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills for effective project management
• Apply analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Adapt flexibly to new challenges and travel or relocate as needed
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or equivalent experience
• Complete at least one internship or equivalent work with a heavy civil, foundation, or steel erection contractor
• Preferably have experience with heavy civil or foundation work such as mass concrete, post‑tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie‑backs, shotcrete, or slurry walls
