Reference wiring diagrams and apply correct test procedures to various types of power equipment

3 - 5 years of experience in protection and control systems testing, relay commissioning, and substation fieldwork.
Experience in commissioning full substation setups
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Able to interpret complex wiring and elementary diagrams
High school diploma or GED required
Hands-on experience with pilot wire or fiber systems
Must complete annual safety training; some training may require travel outside the home region
Completion of a trade school program, technical college, associate degree, or skilled trade certification in welding or a related field
SCADA/Fault Data analysis familiarity
Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends or holidays
Strong documentation and computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Adapt to outdoor and indoor field conditions and perform hands-on work in the field
Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment/random drug tests
Experience using test gear and wiring tools in the field
Prior RMS Energy project experience or references
Willingness to travel at least 70% of the time
Strong knowledge of three-phase systems, relays, test equipment, and protection schemes
