- Ensure consistent application of business tools and processes applicable to the scope of outages being executed.
- Capture, report & implement outages best practices.
- Ensuring compliance as per company standards, laws & regulations during outage execution.
- Ensure implementation/regular rigor towards site DMS to achieve field service outage milestones.
- Execution of Steam turbine outages of Own fleets as well as Other OEM fleets in SQDC (Safety-Quality-Delivery-Cost) sequence.
- Align towards outage execution excellence, including cross-functional interaction with Engineering, Sourcing, Project Management, Safety and Quality functions to achieve outage execution KPIs and customer satisfaction.
- Interacting with vendor/customer for planning and execution of the outages
- Share lessons learned with tangible outcomes/deliverables
- Working as Field service specialist for assigned Steam turbine outages including dealing with all technical & safety matters related to outage execution, owning the customer relationship during outage duration, and driving customer issues resolution within outage schedule.
- Use technical experience for data analysis to support recommendations. Collaborates with internal and cross-functional resources to arrive at conclusions.

- At least 6+ years of relevant field service experience for graduate engineer or 8+ years of relevant field service experience for Diploma engineers in outage execution of steam turbines, preferably on large steam turbines of 100 MW and above.
- Sense of Urgency
- Exposure and knowledge on scheduling packages such as MS Project/Primavera shall be preferred.
- Extensive travelling to thermal power stations mainly in India for outage execution.
- Shall be operating from Home/Desired Location under work from Remote policy for GE Vernova Technical Field Advisors.
- Exposure to outage execution process like outage planning/outage execution including site mobilization/execution of job along-with designated vendors/ outage closure/ Outage feedback & Lesson Learnt.
- Systematic approach to understand problems, learn and implement solutions
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical engineering/or equivalent Engineering stream from an accredited university or college.
- Should have sound fundamentals and knowledge on Steam turbine technologies with operational aspects of various fleets.
- Good observational and analytical skills.
- Sound understanding of time/cost control for assigned services outage execution related site activities of Steam Turbine Overhaul within assigned time & cost estimates.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS word/MS excel/MS Power Point) etc
