Develop technical and consulting solutions and offerings for data center advisory services
Identify, evaluate, and manage any subcontractor relationships identified as necessary for development and growth of data center consulting
Manage relationships of data center customers in coordination with Key Accounts and other teams
Act as Project Manager or Project Sponsor on keystone or highlighted projects
Provide technical leadership and guidance to support staff in a highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment. Be willing to be curious and learn while leveraging experience to bring confidence, ownership and drive
Develop and execute a one- and three-year Business Plan that leverages the current market, opportunities and DNV capabilities.
Act as a liaison, influence, and consult between internal service lines, building rapport and alignment with internal teams already engaging in data center consulting
Develop, mature, and refine our service offerings, leveraging DNV’s strong presence and brand as the premiere, trusted independent engineering and advisory firm in the energy infrastructure industry
Drive business development efforts with new and existing Customers - solidify relationships with key customers, create new customer opportunities, and build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
Lead and develop a go-to-market strategy and champion activities in a strategic marketing and thought leadership plan
Identify, investigate and evaluate strategic business alliances that are in line with market needs and DNV’s strategy
Develop proposals, including feasibility studies, for new business opportunities
Identify, analyze and compare alternative opportunities for entering new markets and adopting new technologies
Lead solution development and technical consulting projects supporting customers developing data centers and co-located generation facilities

Excellent written and verbal English communications skills with strong ability to translate technical findings into business terms
A professional with a deep understanding of the planning, development, financing and powering of data centers. The person will have hands-on experience working with data center developers, owner and utilities to achieve desired outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and multiple concurrent projects effectively
The successful candidate will have an innovative and creative mindset, curious and willing to engage with and leverage DNV’s existing capabilities and expertise
Deep understanding of data center development life cycle, including the challenges developers have gaining access to power
Bachelor’s degree is required
The role requires 10-25% travel, allowing the candidate flexibility to meet with Customers and stakeholders in different locations in North America
10+ years of experience in energy infrastructure or related field
Strong skill-sets in collaboration and working in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment
At least 3 years’ experience working on data center development in North America, including FERC rules and backup reliability power systems
Strategic advisory experience in advising clients on go/no-go decisions, capex strategy and market entry
Proven ability to successfully engage with Customers, scale a new service and mature it simultaneously
