- Review and evaluate existing training programs, competency matrices, skills assessments, and role-based development tools.
- Provide guidance and documentation to ensure smooth adoption and usage.
- Ensure frameworks are adaptable across various roles and functions.
- Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to refine and finalise frameworks.
- Collaborate with SMEs, line managers and the HR department to create and validate role-specific competencies and training needs.
- Identify inconsistencies, gaps and areas for improvement across regions and departments.
- Implement and pilot competency assessment frameworks across all disciplines, ensuring they adequately assess employee competency.
- Design standardised templates for training matrices, competency frameworks, and assessment tools.
- Support the rollout of new competency and training matrices across the organisation.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented frameworks.
- Implement processes for continuous matrices review to ensure they remain up to date and relevant.
- Deliver progress reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

- Excellent communication skills with strong oral, written communications and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of competency frameworks, skills matrices, and training assessment methodologies.
- Excellent working knowledge of IT packages including online learning design software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to translate complex role requirements into structured, measurable competencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Experience in training needs analysis, general training design and development.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation, analysis, and reporting.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, or related field.
- Proven experience in learning & development, workforce capability, or organisational development.
