In this role you will assist with the movement, staging, and organization of railroad materials throughout the yard, working both indoors and outdoors in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment where safety and teamwork are top priorities.

Move, sort, load, and stage rail materials and other yard inventory
Assist with general yard operations and production support
Operate basic tools, equipment, and forklifts safely (training provided)
Maintain clean, organized, and safe indoor and outdoor work areas
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational needs

A&K Railroad Materials is a national rail manufacturing and supply company with over 65 years in the industry. We are hiring a General Laborer to support yard operations at our Kansas City, KS location. This full-time, Monday‑Friday position is hands‑on and suited for individuals who enjoy physical work and being outdoors.

Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic
Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Prior labor or yard experience helpful but not required
