Preparing bid and scope packages to develop detailed project cost estimates.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, governmental agencies, lending institutions for pre-construction.
Inspecting pre-construction phases of the project and ensuring quality control has been completed.
Overseeing the inspection of materials to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, specifications, and regulations.
Designing and reviewing construction documents for the project to identify budget impacts. Creating design documents if designs are not fully developed.
Preparing contract documents for signing by owners or contractors.
Manage the work submissions of the various subcontractors in preparation of detailed estimates.
Coordinating, monitoring, and administrating the pre-construction activities, including, but not limited to negotiating sub-contractors, materials and equipment procurement, material storage, site development, and construction scheduling.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or other related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
Eligible for preconstruction manager license.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of software applications, such as Procore, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
7 - 10 years' work experience in a preconstruction role.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Experience working with various constituents (i.e., Project Executives, Project managers, architects, teammates, etc.) in a construction setting.
Must have knowledge of collaborating with all subcontractors on site.
