Gathering and reporting Corrosion Control data to support Corrosion management KPI Reporting for all ADNOC-OFFSHORE Sites.
Provide and report assurance that assets and processes will be in the best possible position for online and intrusive corrosion monitoring.
Auditing water injection system performance and report corrective actions on corrosion and quality of water across the system
Ensure that corrosion monitoring can fit into the general basis of design and safe operations plans.
Optimization and streamlining corrosion monitoring for different processes and cutting out unnecessary or ineffective practices to deliver efficiency and cost savings.
Root cause analysis (RCA) studies and detailed investigation of failures of corrosion control and monitoring systems, as well as corrosion related damage and failures of process equipment and systems
Review Mechanical cleaning pigging requirements, conduct detailed cleaning pigging studies and make recommendations on improving the integrity of the pipelines, improve the results of chemical programs to increase the lifetime of the pipeline taking into consideration various operating current and future scenarios.
Auditing the existing corrosion monitoring systems for Oil, Gas and Water streams and reporting their functionality and their locations representing actual corrosion rates.
Keeping records of all corrosion monitoring locations and methods on relevant technical drawings including all details about the system, location, isometric, monitoring method and orientation.
Root cause analysis (RCA) assessment and investigation of corrosion damage and failures
Ensure the application of scheduled maintenance programs, the service of corrosion monitoring stations and installed equipment, and record data in the computer database.
Corrosion management performance review and preparation of corrosion management reports
Review Chemical Treatment existing requirements and advise any required changes.
Review of existing and future corrosion monitoring facilities
Proposing and reporting up-to-date, new, and representative more corrosion monitoring techniques
Review periodic site corrosion monitoring reports and report required actions for non-conforming locations.

High level of computer literacy with MS Office (specifically Word & Excel) and experience of other specific analysis software packages (Corrdata or equivalent, MathCAD, Abaqus, Caesar, Autopipe etc.).
High level of experience in pipeline integrity assessments based on industry standards (DNVGL-RP-F101, ASME B31G, ISO 12747)
Familiar with typical engineering deliverables of materials and corrosion for greenfield development studies (conceptual, FEED, detailed engineering)
Knowledge of CP systems performance analysis and design
Bachelor’s degree qualification in Materials Science or similar. Master’s degree is an advantage
Good communication skills in English, verbal and written
Track record of conducting pipeline FFS and life extension studies
NACE accreditation is required
Knowledge of FFS relevant codes and standards (API 579, ASME B31G etc.)
Knowledge of materials behaviours and corrosion analysis
Experience in materials selection for Oil and Gas assets
Minimum 15 years discipline engineering experience in the Oil and Gas
Use of industry recognized software for corrosion rate analysis
Familiar with reviewing inspection data (DCVG, CIP’s ILI)
Professional membership with an engineering institute (NACE or MICorr)
Use of corrosion modelling software Electronic Corrosion Engineer (ECE-5) or equivalent for corrosion rate calculation.
