The role is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and cultural transformation across the organization. It leverages Lean and data‑driven methodologies to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
The Director will shape a global Continuous Improvement roadmap, partner with senior leaders to prioritize high‑impact initiatives, and champion the Otis Performance Excellence system. They will also develop learning curricula, facilitate Kaizen events, coach CI practitioners, and lead root‑cause analysis on critical issues.
The Director of Continuous Improvement position is based in Farmington, CT, with flexibility to work remotely near a major travel hub. It reports to the Continuous Improvement Center of Excellence Leader and was posted on January 7, 2026.
Success in this role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, quality or a related discipline, with a master’s preferred, and 7‑10 years of continuous improvement leadership experience. Candidates should have a proven track record with Lean, Six Sigma or Agile methodologies, strong strategic and change‑management skills, and excellent communication and analytical abilities.
The salary range for this position is $170,000‑190,000, with compensation determined by factors such as education, experience, certifications, geographic location and performance.
