The position supports the growing emerging‑contaminant portfolio and expands Arcadis’s remediation capabilities.
Key accountabilities include assisting project and task managers with site characterization, investigation, and remediation plans, as well as performing field activities such as drilling supervision, groundwater well installation, and vapor‑intrusion surveys. Core duties also cover preparing subcontracts, technical reports, work plans, and regulatory documents, alongside office tasks like data compilation, cost estimating, health‑and‑safety planning, and schedule management.
Arcadis is hiring an entry‑level Geologist or Environmental Scientist for its Philadelphia, PA; Conshohocken, PA; or East Windsor, NJ locations. Field work will involve regional travel of 1‑2 days per week and occasional national trips of up to two weeks, with travel expenses reimbursed. A valid driver’s license is required, and travel intensity is expected to be up to 75 % in the first two years, decreasing with career progression.
Arcadis empowers employees to bring their best selves to work, fostering a skills‑based career path that maximizes individual impact. By delivering sustainable solutions, you will help create a more prosperous planet and leave a lasting legacy.
Arcadis provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401(k), life insurance, paid parental leave, wellbeing programs, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement, nine paid holidays, and 15 PTO days per year.
