Description

• Assist with installing garage doors and openers in both new construction and residential homes.
• Learn installation fundamentals and progress through structured apprenticeship training.
• Follow all safety procedures on job sites; help maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Work as part of a two-person installation team.
• Lift and handle materials (70 lbs independently; assist with 90+ lbs).
• Provide excellent customer service to homeowners and builders.

Banko Overhead Doors is hiring a motivated Garage Door Installer Apprentice to join our growing team. This hands-on role allows you to learn professional garage door and opener installation alongside an experienced Lead Installer. No prior garage door experience is required—a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential.

Apprentices receive structured training through Banko University, with certifications at 90 days, six months, and one year, and can be promoted to Installer based on performance, quality, and growth.

• High attention to detail.
• Construction or mechanical experience preferred (not required).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and physically able to perform job duties.
• Performance reviews at 6 months and 1 year
• Certification through Banko University at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work a full-time schedule
• Ability to lift 70 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend down, work in outdoor conditions for extended periods of time
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work
