Support the transition from estimate to field execution, ensuring a clear and smooth hand-off to project teams.
Review and interpret plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and constructability.
Lead self-performed concrete projects from planning through close-out, serving as the main contact for clients, vendors, and field personnel.
Promote a strong safety culture and uphold KCI’s standards of quality and integrity.
Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and work plans to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Maintain consistent communication and documentation to support project success.
Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for all self-performed concrete scopes — including labor, materials, equipment.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid reviews.
Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and field teams to ensure alignment on scope, productivity, and quality.
Perform quantity take-offs, validate productivity rates, and incorporate field feedback into pricing.
Solicit vendor quotes and ensure scope completeness.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment; manage change orders and cost reporting.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Win Est, or scheduling software a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
You’re a hands-on construction professional who enjoys both the analytical side of estimating and the leadership side of managing projects.
You’re organized, proactive, and confident in your ability to balance multiple priorities — from the bid room to the job site.
Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
5+ years of estimating and/or project management experience in self-performed concrete work.
You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and you take pride in delivering quality work that stands the test of time
Strong understanding of concrete means and methods, crew production rates, equipment utilization, and material costs.
