The Facilities Engineer will oversee, manage, and improve the infrastructure and manufacturing property of the Jonesville facility. Responsibilities include coordinating improvement projects, managing third‑party contractors and vendors, handling security systems, and delivering strategic improvements to ensure efficient and safe plant operations. The role also involves supervising hourly associates, partnering with maintenance on service items, and overseeing internal waste management and recycling processes, thereby supporting operational standards and environmental sustainability.
- Oversee and improve infrastructure and manufacturing property at the Jonesville facility
- Coordinate and execute improvement projects, developing goals, budgets, and work breakdown structures
- Align cross‑functional resources (production, quality, EHS, maintenance, engineering, vendors) to meet project objectives
- Create and implement communication plans for project teams and stakeholders
- Implement new equipment at the greenfield site
- Manage third‑party vendor relationships (security, janitorial, landscaping) ensuring EHS compliance
- Enforce safety expectations and maintain a zero‑incident culture
- Oversee plant security systems, badge access, cameras, and fire protection systems
- Coordinate forklift lease management
- Prepare and submit Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) for facility projects
- Supervise and direct hourly associates and waste removal team
- Partner with maintenance for shared services and ongoing needs
- Manage internal waste removal, recycling, and landfill coordination with vendors

- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Have at least two years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Possess at least two years of engineering or project‑management experience, including internships
- Preferred: graduate degree and strong leadership experience managing internal teams and external vendors
- Familiarity with security, badge, and fire detection systems
- Experience in strategic planning and long‑term facility improvements

The role is permanently based in Jonesville but will be remote within the United States until late 2026/early 2027, with relocation assistance provided for candidates outside a 50‑mile radius. The expected annual salary range is $86,000 – $126,000, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, qualifications, market and business considerations.
