Animator / Editor (Contract Role)

Description

Operating within the India Marketing Operations Center and reporting to the Global Design Manager, the Animator / Editor transforms complex ideas into engaging visual narratives that enhance customer understanding, support product launches, and elevate Armstrong’s digital presence across global markets.

• Prepare assets for digital platforms, webinars, and documentation.
• Translate inputs into storyboards, scripts, and visual treatments.
• Apply color grading, sound design, titles, transitions, and effects.
• Develop animated content for marketing campaigns, launches, digital platforms, and internal storytelling.
• Ensure content meets global brand and quality expectations.
• Use modern tools and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency.
• Edit raw video footage, voiceovers, motion graphics, and animation segments.
• Build and maintain a library of animated assets and visualization materials.
• Design and produce advanced 2D and 3D animations, visualizations, and motion graphics.
• Create animations explaining product functionality, applications, and value propositions.
• Ensure alignment with Armstrong’s global brand and visual identity standards.
• Manage structured source files and repositories.
• Stay current with animation technologies and design trends.
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, Regional Marketing, and Communications.
• Support visualization needs for customer education, events, and product introductions.

Technical Skills

The role prioritizes strong animation craft, visual storytelling, and the ability to communicate product value clearly—while advanced technical interpretation (e.g., CAD) is considered a beneficial skill, not a core requirement

• Proficiency in: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to simplify technical concepts visually
• Video editing and post-production mastery
• Motion graphics, VFX, rendering workflows
• Typographical excellence a plus
• Ability to interpret general product concepts visually.
• Exposure to industrial or engineering-driven products.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools.
• Extensive portfolio of Animated storytelling, Motion Graphics, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication
• Efficient workflow and project management
• Strong grasp of lighting, composition, pacing, narrative structure
• Experience with 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, or technical geometry.
• Scalable library of visual assets
• Enhanced customer understanding of intelligent fluid-flow systems
• High-quality animations widely used across marketing and product functions
• Sophistication in vector illustration using bezier curves an asset
• Improved clarity in product and system storytelling
