

Self‑perform arm of Gray executing turnkey concrete, steel, millwright & finish scopes.
Key duties include overseeing safety compliance, managing project cost spreads and estimates, leading scheduling and resource allocation, monitoring progress and production analysis, handling procurement and invoice approvals, managing change orders, and serving as the primary coordinator with owners and general contractors. The role also involves detailed reporting on field time, productivity, materials and safety, and resolving project hurdles through stakeholder negotiation.
This role may supervise Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
NexGen is seeking a Project Manager, MEP to join its growing team. This is a travel‑based role that will involve significant on‑site presence.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in construction‑related fields (or equivalent experience) and has at least four years of relevant experience, or eight years of construction experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and project‑management software such as Procore, Bluebeam or CMIC is required, along with strong communication, analytical, planning and safety‑leadership skills and a willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
The position demands frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 25 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb), and working in varied environments such as offices, construction sites, and extreme weather conditions. Overtime and travel are expected.
