

Builds and repairs affordable, energy‑efficient homes and provides financial literacy to low‑income families.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the crew leader assists in all phases of new home construction, overseeing tasks from demolition to finishing work while managing both skilled and unskilled volunteers and homeowner families. The individual plans daily work, ensures material availability, and upholds safety standards set by Habitat, OSHA, and EPA. Leadership extends to special projects, community events, and volunteer orientation.
Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, reliable attendance, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders, work on roofs, and stand for long periods. The role also expects adherence to Habitat’s Code of Conduct and the ability to perform basic computer tasks.
